eXXpedition North Pacific crew member Rowan Henthorn introduces us to fellow crew member and filmmaker Jen Russell:

“Jen is the kind of girl you meet and like instantly, her energy and optimism is infectious. On board Sea Dragon, Jen loves to regale the crew with songs on her ukulele, and is always singing and making jokes, even waking up for a 4am watch with a smile! She embodies the spirit of her family motto, which is to keep smiling and you will succeed.
Jen’s sense on adventure led her move from the UK to Hong Kong seven years ago. Moving to the big city initially for a job in finance, Jen quickly realised that it wasn’t for her and she creatively turned her passion for film making into her own business.
Jen’s other passions include travel, yoga and netball and she is passionate about sustainable and ethical living. Having spent the last 7 years in Hong Kong, Jen has witnessed the issue s of pollution and waste management within the city and hopes to utilise her skills and passions to raise awareness of currents issues in order to create positive change.”
