eXXpedition Ambassadors

A NETWORK OF CHANGEMAKERS

Many of the incredible women who join our sailing or virtual voyages continue their journey with us as eXXpedition Ambassadors. Together, they form a vibrant, global community – and one that continues to make waves of impact.

This unstoppable network is tackling plastic and toxic pollution from every direction. With scientists, storytellers, designers, policy-makers, and change-makers in the mix, they’re not just raising awareness – they’re turning it into bold, tangible action.

Our Ambassadors bring a wealth of perspectives, experiences, and skills to the table. From every corner of the globe, they collaborate across disciplines, break down barriers, and reimagine what’s possible when it comes to solving complex environmental challenges.

“eXXpedition really reinvigorated my passion for what I do. Of course, I wanted to continue growing Plaine Products, but more importantly I wanted to stretch myself to do things that wouldn’t directly benefit our business but would help our wider mission – changing consumer habits and protecting our ocean. So I have created more partnerships, done podcasts, done interviews – essentially spoken to anyone who wants to listen. Joining eXXpedition was one of the best decisions I made, such an inspiring mission and community of women!” – Lindsey McCoy, eXXpedition Ambassador and Round the World Leg 5 Crew Member

Spreading their message

around the world

Our Ambassadors are using their voices – and their unique platforms – to raise awareness, inspire change, and empower others to find their role in tackling the plastic pollution crisis.

Designer Siri Østvold took the stage at the Webdagene Conference in Norway, captivating an audience of over 1,000 people. In Whistler, BC, Nikkey Dawn created space for meaningful conversations through intimate workshops on Ocean Plastic Solutions. Circular Economy Advisor Kristine Berg harnessed the influence of her workplace, delivering talks across 15 TOMRA offices worldwide. In Germany, Erika Bracini hit the road, showcasing her eco-conscious furniture at Sustainability Festivals. Melissa Mayhew brought the conversation to the heart of the marine industry at the Toronto International Boat Show. And marine biologist Emily Duncan reached over 3,000 fellow scientists with her powerful message at the International Sea Turtle Symposium.

Every week, somewhere around the world, our Ambassadors are out there – educating, collaborating, innovating, and sparking change.
